I first opened the mic at the age of 18 on college radio station KSRQ in Thief River Falls, MN. I was the first student in my class to be on the air and over the next year, I would log 400 hours of on-air time.
After graduation, I honed my on-air skills at Simmons Multimedia and radio station KNDK AM 1080 in Langdon, ND, which eventually led to hosting a simulcast morning show on sister station KNDK FM. After long hours and hard work, I eventually became Director of Operations for all stations at Simmons Multimedia.
After nearly 15 years in Langdon, I jumped at the opportunity to transition into public radio, challenging myself to learn and expand my skill-set and knowledge.
Twenty-two years after opening the mic for the very first time, I'm still on the air and can be heard on 93.9 & 99.3 in Cape Girardeau. Below are samples of my on-air work.
